Regina's, Birmingham

The team were tasked to refurbish an existing pub, stripping it back to shell and transform it into an elevated dining destination in the heart of Birmingham. The aim being to create a bold statement and rival the dining scene of the already established venues on the neighbouring Colemore Row. A site with such potential, opening onto a bustling throroughfare with endless footfall, it was required for the design to draw guests in; whilst the exquisite cuisine makes them want to return time after time.

To reflect the Mediterranean cuisine, layered ripple shapes seen in the carved 3D ceiling and bespoke painted murals throughout the interior create fluidity. Whilst subtle elegance was achieved through the use of ambient moody lighting and clever use of brass detailing to reflect the high quality of service that is offered. Through careful selection, the refined finishes were chosen to resemble an exclusive and luxurious experience for guests.
