The project

By acclaimed sushi master Endo Kazutoshi, the restaurant reopened its doors following a refurbishment and a period of culinary reflection. The desire to further improve the guest experience remained paramount during the works. It was apparent the restaurant would benefit from a relaxation area away from the hive of activity created by an omakase experience.

The interior

Tibbatts Abel were the Interior Implementers, collaborating alongside Kengo Kuma as the Concept Designers. Pre and post-dinner drinks are now offered in the woodscape lounge area. The omakase experience is served at the reconfigured sushi counter, ensuring a closer interaction between Endo and his guests. Behind the counter, additions to the kitchen have been added, including a tempura station, allowing for an unprecedented view of the chefs at work.
