The project

The first Buddha-Bar opened in Paris in 1996. The concept and idea belong to Raymond Visan, whose creation was not only a place of pastime, but also a set of values that connect the eastern and western civilizations. Since then the Buddha-Bar brand has become one of the world’s most successful with outposts in over a dozen destinations worldwide. The first solo project for brand co-founder Tarja Visan, Buddha-Bar London marks something of a departure from previous openings.

The interior

A wonderful execution helped this international phenomenon to achieve a more spiritual and sensory ambience. Tibbatts Abel were responsible for all aspects: inception, feasibility, concepts, interior design and detailing, as well as furniture and lighting design. All the inherent features, including the crystal dragons and even the unique Buddha statue, are the result of the imagination and commitment of the Tibbatts Abel team.
