PREMIER HOSPITALITY | Regina's, Birmingham

Tibbatts Abel mentioned in Premier Hospitality as the architects & interior designers for Regina’s, Birmingham:

“Regina’s offers a refined tribute to inspired Mediterranean cuisine, in a beautifully executed interior, with a heightened attention to detail and an exquisite material palette.”

“From the marble finishes to the warm ambient lighting, at Regina’s, every detail has been considered, which is reflected in the precision and attention to detail that goes into each dish prepared in the kitchen.”

“Taking the existing space and stripping it back to a bare shell, Tibbatts Design have implemented a new fresh design for the façade and windows, with internal spatial planning alterations making room for a new kitchen and back of house area. As the strip out works commenced, a row of skylights was uncovered, which had been boarded up for decades. Tibbatts Design reworked their original design in order to reinstate and accentuate these fantastic existing features, bringing natural light into the restaurant below.”

“A trip to Regina’s really is a feast for the senses, with artistic bespoke features included throughout, including a moss wall in the style of a stained glass window from moss wall art specialists, Wall of Eden. Intricate brass works add a touch of elegance to the interior, with a suspended sculpture by celebrated artist David Begbie adding drama to the dining space. These are all brought together by a stunning ceiling mural painted by Birmingham Artist Daniel Lopez.”

“For those looking to sample some of Regina’s Mediterranean favourites, the menu brings together fresh seafood, premium cuts, and house-made pastas, which can be paired with their curated wine list or specially crafted cocktails.”

“As the evening unfolds, live musicians bring a soulful energy to the room, as the atmosphere naturally evolves into a more vibrant, social rhythm later in the night. Resident DJs also are on hand to set the vibe with a mix of chart-toppers, timeless classics, and irresistible beats that keep the energy flowing all night.”

“PREMIER HOSPITALITY spoke with Adam Tibbatts, Director, and Mario Lau, Interior Designer at Tibbatts Design, who commented: “The luxury interiors look fantastic, and make a real sensory impact to visitors. The restaurant has received very positive feedback, and we’re delighted to hear that the opening few weeks at Regina’s have been successful. We’re very proud to have been part of it and believe that Regina’s has put something rarely seen before into the city.”
