The Butchers Social, Private Dining Room (Forest), Solihull

Located at the centre of Dorridge, Solihull. The Butchers Social, Bar and Restaurant is an extension of the privately owned Forest Hotel. Tibbatts Abel worked alongside the Chef Director to bring to life this concept which specializes in 'good food, cooked properly, in an environment that makes you feel comfortable' – The Butchers Social.

The entire layout of the pub was changed to create distinctive dining, bar and lounge spaces. Toilets and private dining rooms were moved to the first floor as well as the bar which now provides a focal point. A new covered pergola was added to the rear maximising the beautiful views of Box Hill.

The characterless interior has been transformed into plush and welcoming space with lots of quirky details and crafted elements in every corner. This cosy pub is now the local hub with carefully selected art and bric a brac from neighbouring artists and makers as well as spaces that are not only beautifully designed but comfortable, approachable and full of character. Make sure to pay them a visit when you are in the area and you won’t regret it – their pie is to die for especially accompanied by a pint of local beer.
